PARIS OF THE PLAINS INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL 

Lights! Action! Submit! The PoP Film Group of Kansas City proudly announces a call for entries for the 2013 Paris of the Plains International Student Film Festival to be held THIS SUMMER in Kansas City, Missouri. Dates and locations have changed but we will have a new venue locked down soon!!

Application fee is $10.00

• Be sure to to include what school you are attending on your application.
• The PoPFilm Fest is open to students in high school and college.
• We encourage filmmakers from all over the world to submit their student films.

Your film or video entry, accompanied by a signed entry form
must be postmarked by July 26, 2013

Qualifications:

• A filmmaker may submit a film that was up to two years following his or her graduation year.
• Senior year students may submit a film that was made at any point during their collegiate career.
• Films must have been completed during college enrollment within the past 5 years.

MATERIALS TO SUBMIT

Please fill out the entry form completely and sign it. A separate entry form is required for each title.

In addition to your entry, please enclose a description or synopsis of your entry along with a short biography for the film/video maker(s) and stills from your film/video either on the DVD with your entry, a separate CD, or with instructions on how to access the stills online.

VIDEO FORMATS

Entries can be submitted on DVD or digital file. If you must submit as an online preview option, please submit a URL and understand you may have to send their work on a DVD or drive for exhibition.

AUTHORIZATION

The entrant authorizes a public screening of the work and agrees to provide an exhibition copy for the period of the screening June 6-9 as well as allowing clips to shown on our website, popfilmkc.org. Additionally, the entrant authorizes the festival to make copies of their preview tape or DVD for press use.

NOTIFICATION

You will be notified by May 25 if your film has been accepted. Your copy of your film will not be returned unless by prior arrangements are made. Be sure to talk to Timothy English or Morgan Elyse.
